When to use push

Push is the best choice for most people. It's faster, free, and gives you much higher limits. You need to install SeatDrop on your phone and allow notifications for it to work.

When to use SMS

SMS is useful if:

  • You're using SeatDrop from a desktop browser and don't want to install anything
  • You prefer text messages over app notifications

Keep in mind that SMS has lower limits (2 alerts, 50 seats) compared to push (30 alerts, 500 seats). Ticket drop alerts are push-only.
