Managing Alerts
Access your alerts on another device
SeatDrop gives you a short code that links your alerts across devices. Set alerts on your phone, check them from your laptop — or the other way around.
Your short code
When you create your first alert, SeatDrop generates a unique code like SD-4K7M2 (the letters SD- followed by five characters). This code is stored automatically in your browser and lasts for 30 days.
How to find your code
Find it on the Profile page — tap Show next to your masked code. Profile is in the nav on both desktop and mobile.
Use it on another device
- Open seatdrop.app on your other device
- Go to My Alerts
- Enter your short code in the code field
- Your alerts appear — same data, different device
- On desktop when saving an alert you can enter your short code to save it as a push notification & get notified via your mobile device
Good to know
- The code is tied to your alerts, not your device — it works on any browser
- Each code lasts 30 days from when it was created
- If you lose your code, you can recover it by email — tap Lost your code? Recover via email on the My Alerts page
- Never share your short code with anyone; it is yours to keep private
