Monitor for adjacent seats

If you're going with a group, you probably want seats together vs. scattered across the theatre. The adjacent seats feature ensures you're only alerted when enough seats open up side by side.

How to set it up

  1. Select the seats you want to monitor as usual
  2. Find the "Group alert" toggle below the seat map
  3. Set it to the number of seats your group needs (e.g., 3 for a group of three)

How it works

SeatDrop will only send you an alert when the number of seats you specified becomes available next to each other in the same row. Individual seats opening up won't trigger a notification.

For example, if you set the minimum to 3, you won't be notified when just one or two seats open up — only when three or more adjacent seats are available at the same time.

Tips

  • Set the minimum to match your group size
  • Monitor more rows to increase your chances — adjacent seats could open up in any of them
  • Combine this with sharing your alert so your friends get notified too
