Finding Showtimes

Choose a date

After selecting a theatre, pick a date from the calendar. Today's date is highlighted, and dates you've selected appear as gold pills.

Every future date is selectable. If a date comes back with no showtimes, SeatDrop tells you how far ahead that theatre has published its schedule so far — chains publish on a rolling basis, usually a few weeks to a few months out.

Worth trying anyway: advance-ticket sales for a big release often open months before the rest of the schedule, so a date can be bookable even when it sits past the theatre's own published range. For Cinemark, picking that date works — the showtimes appear as normal, even though the date strip doesn't flag them.

If a date still comes back empty and you have a link for the showtime, paste it into the search box to jump straight to the seat map.

Browse current showtimes

Movies playing on your selected date appear as cards. Each card shows the movie title and all available showtimes with corresponding formats.

Upcoming showtimes

⏸ Paused — AMC data unavailable. Ticket-drop alerts rely on AMC's showtime feed, which is currently unavailable, so the Upcoming tab is hidden and new drop alerts can't be created. Drop alerts you already saved are kept and will resume automatically — there's nothing to re-create. Seat monitoring is unaffected. The rest of this section describes how Upcoming works when it's running.

You can also monitor films that have yet to be released, getting notified when tickets go on sale. Upcoming monitoring is available for AMC theatres. After choosing an AMC theatre, switch to the Upcoming tab on the showtime step, then browse by month to find an unreleased film and set up a ticket-drop alert. These get stored under your MyAlerts like any other alert.

Format labels

Some showtimes have a coloured format label next to the time:

• Blue = IMAX
• Purple = Dolby Cinema
• Grey = all other premium formats (e.g. PRIME, 4DX, D-BOX)

Showtimes without a label are standard format.
